Vintage-Look Ornament Love

You’re Mom usually knows you best, and that’s definitely the case with my own mother. She asked us over for dinner last night as they’ll be at Hilton Head over Thanksgiving. In addition to a scrumptious dinner and all the yummy appetizers they plied us with, she had some gifts for me from Michaels. She really is so thoughtful and knows me so well. Thanks, Mom.

These beautiful, bright, vintage-look ornaments that I LOVE!

And all these goodies too! She also upcycled a wreath by painting it with “snow” and gave it to me to create a wreath for my front door. Isn’t she sweet?

These are some goodies of my own I thought I’d share. The cards and button came from Café Press. Daughter Hannah drew the original owl that inspired our Christmas cards for this year. I love her passion for creating. With the help of Inkscape software, I turned her drawing into graphic images and created the cards – then printed by Café Press. The magnet was my own creation with Inkscape and says “life is good”. I couldn’t resist treating myself to something when I ordered the cards!

Finally, the thing that looks like a light bulb is actually the most adorable glass container from Hobby Lobby. I’m definitely beginning to warm up to that store!

I hope you enjoyed these as much as I do. Just had to share!
